From the onset and the daily report, the fresh wave of the Coronavirus outbreak in Vietnam is not looking good.

After 99 days when Vietnam saw no community transmission of the deadly virus in the country, a new case unexpectedly surfaced on the 100th day in the central Vietnam, right in Danang city.
According to the local authorities, Vietnam has yet to figure out the patient zero that resulted the epidemic to resurface in the country. To contain the spread of the deadly virus, the authorities have implemented the strict social distancing measures swiftly in Danang, as well as in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and affected localities.
According to official reports, as of 6pm VNT on August 2, Vietnam records 620 COVID-19 cases, with 307 imported cases and 5 fatalities.
The new community transmission cases related to Danang outbreak from July 25 till August 2 is presently 173 cases.
From 6am to 6pm, August 2, there are 30 new cases in the community, with the breakdown as follows; Danang (16), Quang Nam (09), Dak Lak (02), Dong Nai (01), Khanh Hoa (01), and Ha Nam (01).
The sixth COVID-19 patient who succumbed is Patient 429.
