Although they are the two cities with the highest number of international visitors in Vietnam, Hanoi and Saigon are not actually favorite destinations for local tourists. Yet these places’ names are not too unfamiliar to everyone too.
Going all over Vietnam is perhaps always a dream of many young people. Everyone, when reach the age of 25 or 30, to be able to set foot on every part of the country. Each trip is like a small “success” to achieve the dream of covering entire Vietnam on the map. With the survey results from “Here We Go”, many young people have boasted tours that they had completed as well as their favorite places in Vietnam.
About 3,243 responses were recorded for the participants to recall the places that they visited. With about 25,281 times of the local provinces marked, on average, each young person has already visited seven provinces and/or cities in Vietnam.
The statistics might be considered modest when there are more than 60 provinces in the country. Certainly among the respondents, there are actually some that had already set foot in all 63 provinces which is really remarkable so to speak.
A question that many people care about is – Which province is the most visited with Vietnamese youths? The answer may not seem so difficult as the beautiful central Vietnam coastal city of Da Nang emerges as the most visited destination among voters with 1,442 votes.
With its centralized geographical location between Hanoi and Saigon, the climate is pleasant with surrounding beautiful beaches. Together with the heritage road of Hue and Hoi An, Da Nang is truly an attractive destination to see many local tourists all year round, especially during summer.
If you have not gone other places other than Hanoi and Saigon, stop hesitating where to go this summer. There is more than what Vietnam can actually offer to every different type of travelers.
