Vietnamese netizens are getting stirred up now.
On March 2, one of world’s biggest film makers, Walt Disney Pictures, unleashed a trailer of the upcoming American science fantasy adventure movie, titled “Artemis Fowl”.
Based on the 2001 novel of the same name by Eoin Colfer, the movie version stars Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Colin Farrell, and Judi Dench. It is slated for official release on May 29 in the United States. According to information from CGV Vietnam, “Artemis Fowl” is also scheduled to screen nationwide on May 29 in Vietnam.
What caught the attention of Vietnamese netizens was when Ho Chi Minh City unexpectedly came up to the screen.
Although Ho Chi Minh City is only seen for a few seconds in the trailer, it is long enough for Vietnamese netizens to instantly recognize the familiar bustling city view with motorcycles, especially roadside shops with signboards in Vietnamese language.
It is definitely worthwhile for Vietnamese movie fans to anticipate this newest movie now when Ho Chi Minh City was one of the filming locations.
